T4 Progress Test




A link to your progress test will be available below after the half-term holiday.  You are to copy the document over to which you will have been given editing rights.  You will have 45 minutes to complete the test electronically and post back to the blog for marking and feedback.  There will be 5 questions worth 30 marks

Over half-term make sure that you revise the following:

Data compression
  • Lossy compression
  • Caesar cipher algorithm
  • Binary digits and bitmap images
  • Flow charts
  • Variables
  • Binary counting

      Well done great attempt. Just ensure that you have studies comments. Don't lose marks on simple arithmetic questions

      Thank you for this. Can I suggest strongly that you always always answer all questions - especially if you are unsure. Go over what you got wrong and make notes of the correct answers. Spend, some time redoing the algorithm question. Try tow work out exactly what the algorithm is designed to do.

      Josh what a good attempt. Repeat again the flow chart question. You seemed to misunderstand this in parts.

      A really superb effort here well done. You have clearly revised hard. One of the techniques you have to learn is that you must frame your answers to be shorter and to the point. Do the test making sure that you have added and understand the correct answers.

      A really good attempt. Try to make sure that your answers are clear and to the point. Do the test again making sure that you have the correct answers for each section.
